Starfires Sports & Entertainment announced today that legendary Major League Baseball pitcher Roger Clemens will headline the Starfires Hot Stove, a first-of-its-kind live event hosted at Westfield State University on Saturday, March 28.
Nicknamed “The Rocket” for his overpowering, high-velocity fastball, Clemens is one of the most dominant pitchers in the history of Major League Baseball. Over a remarkable 24-year career, Clemens won a record seven Cy Young Awards, earned an American League MVP, made 11 All-Star appearances, and captured two World Series titles.
Clemens finished his career with 354 wins (ninth-most in MLB history), a 3.12 ERA, and 4,672 strikeouts (third-most all-time) across 709 games. He remains the only player in MLB history to record both 350 wins and more than 4,500 strikeouts.
Join us for an intimate night of baseball stories, insights, and memories, as one of the most dominant pitchers in MLB history talks shop, relives iconic moments, and reflects on a legendary career.
The event will take place at Parenzo Hall (Dever Auditorium) on the campus of Westfield State University, located at 577 Western Avenue, Westfield, MA. The Hot Stove program begins at 6:00 PM.
A Rocket Hot Stove Ticket is available with limited availability due to auditorium seating capacity, while an exclusive VIP Meet & Greet experience—offering a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet Roger Clemens—is available in extremely limited quantities. This VIP experience includes an autograph and photo with Clemens, along with hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar prior to the Hot Stove program. Tickets are available now at www.westfieldstarfires.com.
