WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (June 24, 2024) – The last weekend of June is set to be a special one in the Pioneer Valley.

The first-place Westfield Starfires play three of four weekday games on the road, with Thursday's contest at Bullens Field against the Futures League Road Warriors. 

On Saturday, June 29, the Starfires host the Bravehearts, and fans are in for a treat as Westfield native and finalist on NBC's 'The Voice' Madison Curbelo will join the team for the evening. Gates open at 5:30, and Curbelo will be performing during pregame, and will additionally sing the Star Spangled Banner prior to first pitch.

Then, on Sunday, June 30, the Starfires head to the Walker Memorial Grandstand in Forest Park for the Second Annual Starfires Summer Classic. The event is free to attend, and the Starfires will host a free baseball clinic for youth beginning at 2:00 p.m. prior to the 4:00 p.m. first pitch.
