WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (June 17, 2024) – The view from the top is nice, but the fifth week of the season presents some of the biggest challenges yet.

Just past the quarter mark of the season, the Starfires lead the FCBL by percentage points heading into eight games in six days against teams that are not far back. It starts with a pair of games in Burlington against the Lake Monsters.

Then the Starfires play two games each against the other two teams in the league's top three. On Thursday, Brockton comes to Bullens Field for a single game, while the Norwich Sea Unicorns are in Westfield for a single-admission doubleheader on Friday. The team then returns the trip to Brockton to face the Rox at Campanelli Stadium for the first time in 2024. 

Finally, the weekend closes out with a two-game matinee on Sunday as the Starfires visit Holman Stadium to do battle with the Nashua Silver Knights.
