WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (June 3, 2024) – A successful opening weekend has put the Starfires in an early lead in the Futures League standings, and now is a chance to build on that advantage.

The homestand at Bullens Field continues on Tuesday evening with the first visit this season from the New Britain Bees. Gates open at 6:00 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. first pitch, and the Starfires are expecting several players to arrive, including rising Vanderbilt freshman Alex Grant. 

Wednesday morning follows with another Kids' Day Game against the Worcester Bravehearts.

The rest of the week will be spent on the road with four games in four days. On Thursday, the team will head to New Britain for an early pair, including a makeup of a game that was rained out last week. 

After an off day on Friday, the Starfires will trek north for a weekend in Burlington, with two games against the Vermont Lake Monsters on the slate at Centennial Field.
