WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (April 19, 2024) – The Westfield Starfires will play a 58-game Futures League schedule in the summer 2024 season, including 26 home dates at Bullens Field, team owner Chris Thompson announced on Friday, April 19.

“We are excited to welcome our fans back to Bullens Field for our sixth season of Bullens Magic,” Thompson said. “We aim to continue to provide an incredible family-friendly, fun atmosphere with high-level baseball and excitement off the field as well.”

In addition to the team’s 26 games at their home ballpark, the Starfires will host two special games: the second-annual Starfires Summer Classic at historic Walker Memorial Grandstand at Forest Park in Springfield on Sunday, June 30, and the inaugural Starfires Showdown on Wednesday, July 17  at Dunkin Park in Hartford, Connecticut, the home of the Eastern League’s Hartford Yard Goats, AA affiliate of Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies.
