WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (July 27, 2022) – The All-Star Game is done, and now the stretch run begins with the Starfires battling for the first postseason berth in franchise history.
The team begins with a "home game," but with a twist. The Starfires play two at Fitton Field on Wednesday, but will serve as the home squad in the first matchup of the doubleheader as a makeup of a rained-out game from June 22 that was supposed to be at Bullens Field. The squad then treks up to Centennial Field for the final regular-season matchup with the Lake Monsters on the road.
The weekend is then at home, and it opens with two more against the Lake Monsters on Friday and Saturday night.
On Sunday, July 31, the Starfires host the Silver Knights for a 3:00 p.m. start. It will be Miracle League of Western Massachusetts Day at Bullens Field. The Miracle League seeks to remove the barriers that keep children with disabilities from being able to play the game of baseball. More information about the Miracle League and the great work they do can be found on their website at http://miracleleaguewestma.com/.
Tickets are available for each home game at the above links, or at the Bullens Field Box Office, starting at $10.
