WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (May 30, 2022) – The Westfield Starfires have set themselves up for success with a 4-0 start, and now face a busy week with seven games in seven days, including three home dates. The Starfires will spend Memorial Day in New Hampshire, with a special 1:00 p.m. game against the Nashua Silver Knights. The team then returns to Bullens Field for a pair of games. On Tuesday, May 31, the Starfires will welcome the Norwich Sea Unicorns to the Whip City for the first time in 2022, with a 6:30 p.m. scheduled first pitch. The following day will be another Education Day Game, as the Pittsfield Suns return to Bullens field for a 10:30 a.m. start. The next three games are slated for the road, as the team will journey north once more for a pair of games at the Vermont Lake Monsters. Westfield will put its starting 10 on the diamond at Centennial Field on Thursday, June 2 and Friday, June 3, both at 6:35 p.m., before heading back to Holman Stadium again in Nashua to battle the Silver Knights on Saturday, June 4 at 6:00 p.m. Finally, the Silver Knights and Starfires close out the week in Westfield on Sunday, June 5, with a 3:00 p.m. first pitch. That game marks the first of four in a row at home and six out of seven.
