Starfires add Pat Strange as Pitching Coach

Westfield,MA _The Westfield Starfires and Head Coach Bill Sandillo announced today the hiring for former New York Mets pitcher and Springfield, MA native, Pat Strange as the Pitching Coach

“I am looking forward to the opportunity of working with Billy Sandillo at the college level. It will be a great benefit to have him in the area.” said Strange

Coach Sandillo’s sentiments were echoed by Front Office staff “We are thrilled to add yet another household name from the Western Massachusetts baseball community” said Director of Baseball Ops, Evan Moorhouse.  “Our goal is to provide our athletes with the best possible resources throughout their time in Westfield and the addition of Pat further ensures that."
