The Westfield Starfires will send six to Worcester for the 2025 Futures Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game as well as an entrant into the FCBL Home Run Derby, the league office announced on Wednesday, July 16.

Rising freshman Griffin Enis of the University of Virginia will participate in the Home Run Derby, to be held at Fitton Field on Monday, July 21.

The Starfires will have five players in the All-Star Game that will be held at Polar Park, home of the AAA Worcester Red Sox, on Tuesday, July 22.

University of Connecticut sophomore shortstop Evan Menzel, who leads the FCBL in on-base percentage, Keene State University senior first baseman Jonathan Chatfield, and Southern Connecticut State University sophomore pitcher Cody Heselton will take the field for Team Hearts, while Team Smiles has two Starfires: Boston College sophomore second baseman and pitcher John Mass and Keene State University sophomore pitcher Nathan Pirog.

Additionally, Team Hearts will be managed by the reigning FCBL Manager of the Year, Paul Bonfiglio, marking the first time in franchise history that the Starfires manager has been selected to lead at the All-Star Game. Team Smiles will be led by current Norwich Sea Unicorns manager and former Starfires manager Kyle Dembrowski.
