Tuesday, July 19, 5:00 p.m./6:30 p.m. - vs. Nashua: Tickets | Stream | Live Stats (1) | Live Stats (2) WESTFIELD, Massachusetts (July 18, 2022) – One last big road swing awaits the Starfires, and beyond it, the All-Star Game. But first, Bullens Field will be busy. The Starfires will play the Nashua Silver Knights in a doubleheader to make up for last Tuesday's rainout; first pitch for Game 1 is slated at 5:00 p.m. Both games will be seven-inning contests, per FCBL rules. Should either contest be tied after seven, an eighth inning would be played, followed by a Home Run Derby if necessary. Then, the final Education Day Game is set for Wednesday as the Norwich Sea Unicorns come to town for arguably the biggest matchup of the year; the Starfires and Sea Unicorns enter the week in a tie for the final playoff spot in the FCBL. After that, the team hits the road, with trips to Vermont, Pittsfield, Norwich, and New Britain. The Sunday matchup at the Bees will be Westfield's first in over a month -- the two teams last met at New Britain Stadium on June 23. However, the Starfires will not wait long to return -- the All-Star Game is July 26 in New Britain as well.
